Hope the weekend has been fantastic and that you are ready for a new, wonderful week.
Last year when I was in Los Angeles, I tasted at an incredibly delicious chocolate dessert that was served with delicious Vanilla Bean ice cream and lots of fresh berries.
Triple Chocolate Slice, a cake made with a delicious base of Oreo cookies and topped with a chocolate blend that just melts in your mouth.
Here is the recipe …
Triple Chocolate Slice
- 250 g oreo cookies
- 325 g dark chocolate
- 200 g butter
- 3 eggs
- 3 egg yolks
- 100 g sugar
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
Preheat oven to 160 degrees
Grease 19 cm x 30 cm lamington pan, line base and long sides with baking paper.
place oreo biscuits in a single layer over base of pan, trimming to fit if necessary.
Combine chocolate and butter in a bowl and heat it in the mikro
Beat eggs, egg yolks and sugar in medium bowl with electric mixer until tick and creamy.
Beat in warm chocolate mixture.
Poor mixture over oreo biscuits.
Bake for about 25 minutte or until filling is set.
cool 15 minutes. then refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Dust slice with siftet cocoa before cutting.
Baked with Love.
Perfect to eat with some ice cream and delicious, fresh berries.
